Come the week before the HTCD2026 for the Series Mania International Festival

Every year, the city of Lille organises the international television series festival, which is a mecca for geek and television culture worldwide. It is the largest event dedicated solely to television series in the world. Created at the Forum des Images in Paris in 2010, the Séries Mania festival has been held every year since 2018 in Lille, following a government call for tenders to create Europe's leading international festival in France dedicated entirely to series, which Lille and the region won in 2017, beating Cannes and Paris in particular. A forum exclusively for professionals is held in parallel. The 2025 edition (16th edition) attracted more than 108,000 visitors with nearly 5,000 accredited professionals from 75 countries. This same edition offered 90 previews and welcomed more than 800 guests, while generating 35 million views on social media and 2.5 million visits to its website. The City of Lille

Just one hour from Paris, 35 minutes from Brussels and 80 minutes from London, Lille could have lived in the shadow of its illustrious neighbours. And yet, without any complexes, it cultivates and displays its difference!

Flemish, Burgundian and then Spanish before becoming French, Lille has an exceptional architectural heritage. A trading centre since the Middle Ages, a citadel under Louis XIV, industrial in the 19th century and ambitious in the 20th century, the city preserves the vestiges of its past while looking to the future. While the Euralille district is a concentration of architectural audacity by Rem Koolhaas, Jean Nouvel and Christian de Portzamparc, the Old Lille district reflects Flemish architecture.

European Capital of Culture in 2004, Lille is now a benchmark in this field. In the major museums: Musée de la Piscine in Roubaix – André Diligent Museum of Art and Industry, the Palais des Beaux Arts, Lille Métropole Museum of Modern Art, Contemporary Art and Art Brut – LaM or alternative art centres, from the Opera to the
many theatres and the Lille National Orchestra, culture is experienced and shared on a daily basis. In 2020, Lille became the Capital of Design.

Proud of its festive and gastronomic traditions, the capital of Nord-Pas de Calais Picardie remains a city on a human scale, where the generosity and warmth of the people of the North can be felt. With this unique character, it offers visitors a delightful blend of Flemish cheerfulness and French elegance in the heart of France's youngest region!

Surprising, unexpected, visionary, creative, but also daring, Lille captivates and delights its guests with its contrasts. And if you're still not convinced, come and have a nice beer with us. You'll see, in Lille, it always tastes better with great company! 🍻❤️
